You do not need to compare routes. Send to a destination and we pick the route for it on price and answer rate, billed per message or minute at the wholesale rate plus one platform fee capped at $0.001. No route-picking, no markup on the carrier rate, no monthly fee.
- Auto-routing. We pick the route per destination by weighing its stated ASR (answer rate, the share of calls that connect) against its price, so you don’t have to.
- Pay-as-you-go, prepaid. Per-message / per-minute billing that draws down from a balance you top up first (from $5 by card or crypto, $100 by bank wire). No monthly fee, no minimum spend commitment - and no end-of-month invoice option.
- One capped platform fee. 2% of the carrier rate, never more than $0.001 per call or SMS - the whole fee on ordinary voice and SMS traffic. AI voice agents and phone numbers carry their own charges, listed under Other charges below.
- One API key. Sign up, take your key, and send your first SMS or call in minutes over REST or MCP. No sales call.
SMS bills per segment. Over 160 characters (70 for Unicode) a message splits, and each segment is charged at the rate. The platform fee is charged once per message however many segments it takes.
Voice bills on each route's own increment, shown on every route: 60/60 bills a first full minute then whole minutes, while 6/6 and 1/1 bill in 6-second or 1-second steps. "A-Z" means a rate covering every destination worldwide.
Other charges
The platform fee above is the whole fee on ordinary voice and SMS traffic. Three optional products carry their own charges, all drawn from the same prepaid balance:
- AI voice agents. A flat $0.25 per AI-connected minute, metered per second, on top of the underlying call. Charged only while an agent is on a live call. About AI voice →
- Phone numbers. A one-time setup fee plus a flat monthly price per number, varying by country and number type. Every number shows its exact price in the store before you buy. About numbers →
- The Switch. A separate monthly subscription with every module included and unlimited minutes switched, from $500 a month for 500 concurrent calls to $10,000 for 25,000. Call termination is billed separately. Beyond 25,000, talk to sales. See the Switch plans →

Do developers pay more?
No. Developer (pay-as-you-go) and Carrier / Wholesale draw from the same wholesale market at the same rates. Developer just auto-selects the route for you instead of you choosing it. The platform fee is identical.
Can I switch modes?
Anytime. Start on Developer pay-as-you-go to ship fast, then move to Carrier / Wholesale to hand-pick routes as you scale - same account, same API key.
How do I pay?
Prepaid. You top up a balance first - from $5 by card or crypto, $100 by bank wire - and every charge draws down from it.
There is no invoice at month end. If the balance runs out, traffic pauses until you top up, so you can never owe us money.

- SMS segment
- The billing unit for a text: 160 characters, or 70 with Unicode. A longer message is sent, and billed, as several segments.
- Termination
- Delivering a call to its destination.
- Exchange Score
- Our first-party 0-100 quality rating, built from the ASR, ACD and PDD we measure on live traffic. Independent of what a seller claims.
